YOUTUBE PIXEL TESTER UPDATE
Talking about the rollout, the update is now rolling out to all users across the globe. The feature will also be available for non-Premium users, but only in US regions and will work only for non-music content. Apart from that, Google has confirmed in its blog post that the Premium users will get the PiP feature irrespective of the region they are living in. YouTube picture-in-picture will be available for iPhones and iPads running iOS 15 and iPad OS 15 operating systems. The test run ended in April and now the company has announced a wider rollout of the PiP mode for both Premium and free YouTube users on iOS and iPadOS. Two months after the announcement, the company started testing the feature with YouTube Premium users. Google announced YouTube’s picture-in-picture mode for iOS and iPadOS in June last year.
